Bitter, sweet and pulling no punches, Closer is a comedy-drama and a square dance of the private lives of four people across two years. While first performed a quarter century ago, Closer still hits as a modern piece of writing and has since become an object of desire in its own right, for theatre students in the UK and beyond. A successful film version followed but it is at its best in a live theatre setting as intimate as the moments portrayed and we are delighted to bring it to the Green Room.
