Businessman Bernard lives in Paris with his wife Jacqueline. He discovers his wife has been having an affair and invites the other man (Robert) around for a drink and gives him two options – either he will sleep with Robert’s wife in order to keep things even, or he will have him killed. Robert chooses to let Bernard sleep with his wife. Bernard arranges an evening meal with both couples present. However, things don’t all go according to plan throughout the night with an evening of false identity and surprise appearances.
