The Luvvies
An aspiring West End director has decided to run an amateur dramatics group. A mishmash of wannabe actors answer her advert in the parish newsletter. The scene is set as they embark on a journey, along with a rather grumpy village hall janitor, which finds them performing a parody of The Merchant of Venice penned by an unknown author. As well as laughter, along the way some unpleasant truths emerge.
