Carlisle Green Room Club has been an amateur theatre in the city since 1952, and as a charity we operate on a totally voluntary basis. We are keen to recruit new members who wish to take an active role in the club. There are opportunities for performing or directing on stage, helping through stage management and technical work, such as lighting, sound, set building and painting, and wardrobe.
If you are not interested in helping with the production side, perhaps the hospitality side would be of interest. You could help in the Cellar Bar by serving drinks, or Front of House by selling programmes or showing the audience to their seats.
If this would be too much, why not become a Patron? That way you can keep in touch through our newsletters, benefit from priority bookings, and have full use of the Club’s facilities etc.

Membership
Full, Student or Concession membership is for those over 16 years who wish to become actively involved in Club activities. If you wish to support the club but not be actively involved you would be very welcome as a Patron Member.
Membership includes a monthly newsletter, priority bookings, concessionary rates for Club productions and the use of the Club facilities.
- Full Member (£25 per annum)
- Student Member (£20 per annum)
For 16 years and over, in full time education.
- Concession Member (£20 per annum)
Aged 65+. - Patron (£15 per annum)
Some of you may wish to be less active with the Club, but would still like to support it.
